We have been supplying the full range of RPS Clutch and Flywheels for a number of years. Combining fantastic reliability and strength, these beat other well known manufactures all the time. They were developed for the 300ZX in conjunction with Speciality Z, a well respected US-based tuning company and also come complete with NEW Pilot bearing and throw out bearing as a complete package.

Sport Series

For customers who are running stock cars or cars with basic modifications - ie, induction kit, free-flow exhaust system (with or without de-cat pipes), performance chip and electronic boost controller. The Organic version of the Sport series offers 200 pounds more clamping force on the pressure plate but still feels just like a stock unit (but easily capable of holding bigger power).

The Sport 6 Puck version is primarily for Drag and Drifting purposes and is not recommended for daily street use.

Max Series

This is the clutch of choice for customers who are running seriously modified 300's (including uprated turbos and drivetrain equipment). The MAX Series package includes the RPS Max Series Pressure Plate and the Nissan OEM clutch disc. This clutch kit can hold up to 579 foot pounds of torque & is 67% stiffer than stock. This clutch is the most "streetable" one you can buy that will hold big bhp.

The kit includes the throw out bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.

The Max 6 Puck version is primarily for Drag and Drifting purposes and is not recommended for daily street use.

This clutch will hold at least 1000 HP! You can slip this clutch against your e-brake and make boost sitting still to launch just like an automatic torque converter!

RPS Light Weight Flywheel

World’s 1st of it’s kind. These flywheels utilize RPS's patent pending "segmented" heat shield system. Traditional heat shields warp because of the uneven heat produced by a slipping clutch. Just like a car going around in a circle, the outside tires go faster than the inside tires, the clutch disc slides faster around the outside of the flywheel than it does around the inside. The faster moving outside gets hotter than the inside. Because metal expands more the hotter it gets, the outside of the heat shield expands more than the inside. Traditional heat shields are made of one piece metal rings, so when the outside expands more than the inside, the only thing the shield can do is warp. The RPS Segmented heat shields are not connected so they can expand and contract without warping. A warped heat shield causes the clutch to slip, which causes more heat and more warpage. RPS Billet Flywheels are dynamically balanced after CNC machining. Other flywheel manufactures assume that since they CNC their flywheels it comes off the machine fully balanced. This would be true assuming the density of the Aluminium is constant throughout the part. Unfortunately even the best billet material is not evenly dense throughout and the starter ring gears are never perfect. RPS Billet Flywheels are also fully rebuildable for the life of the car.

SGP Racing Uprated Pivot Ball

The stock Nissan pivot ball is made from a weak Grade 5 steel and from 10+ years of use they have a tendency to break when an upgraded clutch is installed. The replacement is made from Chromoly to withstand the extra force of an upgraded clutch. This is a must for anyone upgrading to a performance clutch.

SGP Racing Stainless Braided Uprated Clutch Line 4

This is a must have upgrade for the Z with an upgraded clutch. This will eliminate the mushy pedal feel, that ALL Z's have after installing high clamping force clutches. The kit works wonders with Dual Disc clutches as well. By eliminating all soft points in your hydraulic system, it adds to pedal response, feel and gives you a little more adjustability in the pedal height!
