The Smithy's Place philosophy behind our products

The 300ZX can be a costly car to modify or maintain if you don’t get things right, we know this from experience. So it’s important that the parts you buy do exactly what you want them to do and be the correct parts for your spec or model.

All “Smithys” manufactured products are made from hygienic grade 316 stainless steel. Yes, it costs more to manufacture and work with, however it is very strong and literally maintenance free, often mistaken for chromed work. This it is not; Simply highly polished to perfection and tested on all different specs before being released for sale.

Having owned a number of Zeds for many years, we have come across many companies worldwide who say they specialise in this, that and the other product or car. The branded products we now supply come from companies whom we know from experience have done the research and spent the time developing these products with fantastic feedback from all over the 300zx community.

RPS: Clutch kits developed at RPS with help from one of the US most well known 300ZX tuner and parts supplier to ensure the various different models they do will suit your needs.

Powertrix: High quality adjustable suspension and carbon fibre parts that fit perfectly each time with outstanding quality.

SPL: most highly recommended and used suspension throughout the US, beware of imitations on Ebay. Suspension parts are what keeps your car on the road so, for safety at least, use what many others trust, SPL.

DBA: We are really pleased to sell these brake discs - we run them on our own Zeds and are extremely happy with them. Skylines are very popular in Australia and all use DBA.

Porterfield USA: We have been selling these pads for a number of years now, simply search any where on the internet and you’ll see why customers rate these so highly. We have many customers who just will not use any other pad, you must try them!

We like to think that by now we pretty much know exactly what does works and what doesn't for the 300ZX range. We have been officially supplying parts of various types since 1998, so feel free to ask for advice if you are not sure.
